Engine Oil & Oil Filter Replacement
The Cartisan Service Team, comprising of a Mechanic, 2 technicians & a service vehicle, arrived at the customers residence. A mechanic popped open the bonnet, and after carrying out a preliminary inspection of the Rolls, the Cartisan Mechanics set to work preparing the car for the oil & oil filter replacement. The Mechanics, using a hydraulic jack, lifted the 2.5 ton Rolls on its side. Underneath the Rolls, the Mechanic unscrewed the engine oil drain nut and drained the oil completely. Thereafter, he used an oil-filter-wrench to unscrew the oil filter, fitted in its housing, from its socket, underneath the engine. He replaced this used oil filter with a brand new one from Hengst. Part number : E359 HD306 The Mechanic installed the new Hengst filter into its plastic housing. Thereafter, he fitted the entire filter-housing assembly back onto its position on the engine block. Finally, the Mechanic poured 9 liters of 0W40 Liqui Moly synthetic engine oil into the inlet of the engine oil sump.
